Stage 13’s Pre Professional Company is our audition-only, fully scholarshipped, performance class featuring some of the most dedicated high school-aged singers, dancers, and actors in the area. Stage 13’s Pre Professional Company offers free, high-end training to exceptional young artists with a weekly meeting of dance technique class, advanced scene work, audition prep, vocal workshops, and more, all the while teaching these young artists how to best prepare themselves for a professional career within the Performing Arts.

The class meets weekly on Tuesdays from 5:30pm-9:00pm for the fall semester September 8th – November 11th, 2025 and the spring semester January 26th-April 21st, 2026 (with the week of Spring Break off).

Throughout the 3.5 hour meeting period, Stage 13’s Pre Professional Company will take an hour-long dance technique class, then will rotate in smaller groups (to allow more individualized time) and spend 1 hour in an Acting class, and 1 hour in a Vocal Music class. These classes will focus heavily on technique, training, prepping rep books, professionalism, auditions, and more. We will have two 15 minute breaks incorporated within the 3.5 hour class so our students can eat/socialize/brain break. We will have a few guest artists workshops, performance opportunities, etc throughout the semester that will be outside of the designated class times – participation will be encouraged, but not required.

Stage 13’s Pre Professional Company is led by a collaborative group of teaching artists that include: Bridget Davis (Director of Education), Molly Giles (Associate Director of Education), Quinn Gasaway (Education Coordinator/Acting Coach), Moriah Connerson (Dance Instructor), Kiona Reese (Vocal Coach), and Christain Waldron (Collaborative Accompanist).
